Advance CTE

Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) - "The Association for Career and Technical Education® is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers."

  • ACTE has built a High-quality CTE Tools section on its website. This online library features resources that support success in each of the 12 elements. The emphasis is on practitioner strategies, case studies and toolkits to help educators and administrators implement high-quality CTE programs of study. In the future, this online library will be linked to an online version of the rubric, so that programs completing the assessment can access resources for areas identified as needing improvement.

CTE Online - Free teacher-created curriculum (create an account and start exploring the resources)

Curriculum Articulation Template (web-based) - You may find this helpful for articulating the connection between the CTE standards and your CTE Curriculum. Click on the subpage tabs at the bottom or the Careers tap at the top for specific CTE areas. This template was shared by Jeff McQuistin at ESU #17, and is based on the work of Lenny Vermaas, ESU #6.

Find Your Grind - "Find Your Grind is unique in that it offers educators a complete package of lesson plans that correlate with aligned career exploration and personal finance curriculum standards."

By providing well-vetted and pre-designed content, the platform removes hours of planning and prep work. You’ll have more time than ever to focus on the important bit: teaching.
